Snatcher Chocolate Squares

A strange type of candy that came from Terra Eclipsis as a result of a misunderstanding about what chocolate bars looked like, Snatcher Chocolate Squares are purple-colored bars of chocolate that are a common sweet one can get from confectioneries found throughout the realm.

Described as having a firm exterior that is supplanted by the gooey interior, Snatcher Chocolate Squares are shaped like squares, with a pattern on them allowing for them to be split into 9 smaller pieces. These chocolate Squares get their name and purple coloration from the Snatcher Powder that's used as an ingredient, giving it a tangy but sweet flavor. Oftentimes, other ingredients are mixed in with the Snatcher Chocolate Squares, including:

Peanuts

Peanut Butter

THC

Orange Slices

Caramel

Glowshroom

Heartbloom

Hot Peppers

The origin of Snatcher Chocolate Squares are debated throughout the land, as there are multiple different stories that have come about with who created them first. What's commonly accepted, however, is that they were created thanks to an Elf who misunderstood what chocolate looked and tasted like.

An alleged story is that the Elf in question was given a piece of chocolate while they were under the influence of heavy mind-altering drugs. It's said that the Elf consumed the chocolate and, in their dazed state, said:

Thine tastes odd for chocolate, yes, and thine texture is rough as rock! An odd shade of purple, as well! Yes...

Mooooooooooooooo.

Once the Elf came down from their high and acknowledged the oddness of their statement; as well as the fact that they were supposedly mooing like a cow during said high, they decided that they wanted to try and make the chocolate they imagined while they were tripping. Of course, they skipped over the part where it's texture was akin to that of rock, as that would be described as a horrible texture for chocolate to some.

Now, this is just one story out of many, and a lot of the details get mixed around about the specifics in the years afterward. The part about it being made after a drug-induced high, however, is the only part people can certainly agree on being true.
