Chiral Synchronicity, also known as Chiral Linking and Chiral Connection, are magical bonds that links two souls together. Acting as a supernatural way of syncronizing two people together, Chiral Synchronicity is an ancient art from the time of the Nephilim that allows for two individuals to share attributes, abilities, and strength with each other.

Manifestation

Visually, those who are chirally linked to one another will have ethereal, glowing devoidia-colored handcuffs on their wrists. No matter how far away they go from each other, they will always have these cuffs on them, attaching them from far away to the one they're linked to. Although once only those who were chirally linked or who could see Devoidia could see these cuffs, now anyone can thanks to The Withering.

For those who have been Chirally linked to one-another, the following traits will oftentimes be seen shared between the two:

Hair and eye color

Magical capability

Spiritual energy

Body form

Extra appendages such as wings or horns if one or the other has them.

Although there are many benefits to Chiral Synchronicity, there are many risks at play as well. Any injury, sickness, or other aliments that affects one half will affect the other half as well. If one half dies, the other half will die too.

Types

There are three types of Chiral Synchronicities that can be crafted between individuals, one of which has the potential to be used for nefarious purposes, and the other of which is permanent. These are Links Of Blood, Links Of Chains, Links Of Eternity.

Links Of Blood

A Link of Blood, often called a blood pact or a brotherhood/sisterhood, is when two individuals willingly make a Chiral Sync together. If needed, they can call off the pact whenever their souls desire, but it be a mutual wish.

Links Of Chains

A Link of Chains, often referred to as a Contract, is when a third party establishes the Chiral Sync. The reasoning for this can vary, in some cases it can be due to the two willing parties being unable to establish one themselves; in others it can be due to a will forced upon the individuals. To break Contracts, one would have to have the third party or another one entirely break it for them.
A Link of Chains is often used by Demons to create Vires.

Links Of Eternity

Links of Eternity are special.
Although they're rare, they're done by individuals who desire to be more than just linked. They desire to be eternally bound, forever one. Everything about them is brought together into one, resulting in a new life entirely. Individuals who have forged these Links are known as a Chimeral.
