Caven
Caven is a town located in Kaedwen off the banks of the confluence of the Buina and Gwenllech. Redania invaded Caven during the winter of early 1272. A Redanian garrison was established to control the riverways as well as keep the local population under control and to tap it for needed resources.
In the spring of 1272, a Nilfgaardian spy, Bartram Van Carein, was involved in an espionage action on behalf of Nilfgaard. The result was a weakening of the Redanian garrison by a Kaedweni Guerilla Resistance ambush arranged by Bartram.
