The Reirun Empire

A fallen empire led by white dragonborn which encompassed much of modern Aquela's northern territories. They managed to tame white dragons, which became their engines of war. They were one of the first nations to rise in the wake of the Dawn War.

History

In the last decades of its existence, the leaders of the Empire became obsessed with an artifact which they found in a crater on Yunen. Unbeknownst to them, this was the crystal of Pride, the oldest and most powerful of them all. They haphazardly built Stönazzard Fortress on top of the crater, and hid the crystal there for fear that it would be discovered or stolen. This paranoia would eventually contribute to their downfall, and the crystal disappeared.

Disbandment

The Empire's ceaseless spread went unabated by the small, individual tribes they conquered. Their eventual downfall occurred when they began to brush borders withe the budding nation of Ignis. Despite the strength of dragons, Ignis's overwhelming technological advantage eventually won the day. Uninterested in taking their land, Ignis made the Empire dissolve in the peace deal, thus returning the individual tribes to their natural, warring state.
