Windless Haven

It's an incredibly rare thing to find a place where everyone would be accepted equally no matter the race, religion or colour of their skin. It's all the more ironic that such a place happens to be the home of outcasts from all over the world, ruled over by no king, queen or council. Says a lot about all those governments, really.

The Windless Haven is a rather unique island when it comes to the people inhabiting it. Known for its near-complete lack of Gracious Wind's presence, from which the island also derives its name, the Windless Haven attracts a great deal of sorcerers as well as countless other outcasts. And as those outcasts strive for a better life, many of them turn towards the life of blood and plunder, earning the island its other name of a "Pirate Haven". It is the combined power of the island's sorcerers and the Pirate Republic ruling over it that allows the people of the Windless Haven to stand strong in face of any possible invasions from the world's major powers, having already defeated several fleets sent to cleanse the island.
