Slocosians

Slocosians are very, very quick to learn. Just a generation ago they were nothing but a bunch of primitives, using spears and shields as their main means of warfare. They barely had any armour, even! And look at them now, making their first modern-day regiments armed with musquets. The Ardenians might've opened a Pandora's Box by invading their continent, and let's hope it doesn't backfire at all of us. In the end, some people are better left alone after all.

Slocosians is a self-given name of the race inhabiting the continent that is known as Etox. They are not to be confused with Vurradians who are the natives of the New World overall as opposed to a single landmass and do not sport the same dark kind of skin that Slocosians have. Slocosians have also proven themselves being able to fairly quickly adapt their way of life to the circumstances, heavily influenced by the colonisers from the Old World. This characteristic trait is considered to be the reason why Etox still hasn't been fully conquered by the Ardenian Empire despite all its effort, although the last few decades have sure been a tough time full of challenges for all Slocosians.
