What are weaknesses of the Fey?
- While not particularly common anymore, pure iron weapons are partcularly effective against many Fey (especially those that are particularly pure). Because of this bransishing weapons or items made of pure iron is often taken as a treat by many Fey especially in the Feywild. It is often said that death by iron prevents the Fey creature's essence from returning to the Feywild.
- Are unable to cross a threshold that they have not been invited through, often leaving a portion of their power behind while crossing. Thresholds are not limited to the traditional threshold of a home but also the boarders between lands, especially in the Feywild.
- Running water creates a natural threshold in the Feywild. It is for this reason that many courts use the path of rivers to define the boundaries between their lands.Some Fey also believe that ley lines, the flow of magical energies across the world, are their own form of threshold and refuse to cross unfamiliar ley lines for fear of leaving themselves behind.
