Session 42 - The Kraken Emerges

**Summary of D&D Session:**
1. **After the Battle:**
- Kel tends to Carys, who has had her hand cut off.
- Falke commands the remaining pirates who have switched sides.
- Gos gives Carys a healing potion, easing her pain and leaving her with a stump.
2. **Searching and Freeing Prisoners:**
- Mori searches the captain's body but finds no keys. He recalls the slavemaster had keys in the caves and retrieves them.
- Mori releases the prisoner turned turtle, who joins the crew.
- Zarri explores the hatch where the Butcher emerged, discovering the lower deck with hammocks and another hatch to the hold.
- Zarri enters the hold and finds three humans, a blond elven man, a halfling woman, and a silver dragonborn in cells.
- Jasper, held in the hold, recognizes the party thanks to Mori's message via earrings.
3. **Rescue and Reunion:**
- Zarri attempts to break Jasper's cage but needs keys. Jasper silently mimes "wait there."
- Marble frees the halfling woman, who then wild shapes into a cat and escapes.
- Mori frees Jasper with the keys. Jasper snaps off his manacles and banters with Marble, releasing a playful eldritch blast.
- Jasper and Marble embrace, and Jasper asks about his surroundings and companions.
