Stormsreach

This sprawling industrial port town seems to have a constant flow of traffic as ships move in an out of the harbour, their were being transferred from galleon to river boats to continue their travel up stream into Dontil proper, before being reloaded with good to be returned to the nations from which they were dispatched. The port town is by far the busiest town of Dontil, most shops and even the markets can run here for 24 hours a day. There are many taverns a drinking establishments to serve the needs of the sailors and merchents that visit often. and by far this city has the most diversity among the races that can be found in Dontil.

Demographics

There is a good mix of races spread out through the port town, dwarves still make up the majority of the population but most any species can be found here due to the nature of the city.

Government

The Lawmaster over sees the the governemnt here, backed up by a large regiment of Dawn Legion soldiers. however the Merchants Guild have a large influence in the city and often will have there own mercenary troops to protect stock and warehouses etc.   Taxation here is lower than both craghammer and durilstown to promote trade and encourage investment.

Defences

Stormsreach is not very well defended as a city instead it relies on the small navel presence and it's aray of Dawn Legion and mercenary guards.

Industry & Trade

The city relies heavily on the import and export of goods, but also has a thriving fishing industry.

Infrastructure

a bustling modern city with a huge industrial port and sheltered harbour, fully implemented sewer systems and most buildings in the large districts of the city also benefit from things such as running water.   The ship yards are set up to not only beable to load and unload massive amounts of stock but there is also large dry docks for the repair and maintainance of the vessels that use the port.   A giant stone bridge spans the tidal entrance to the river Teer to ensure that nothing larger than a barge can travel upstream.

Assets

Large warehouses and storeroom are scattered throughout the city, they hold many different items including massive amounts of grain, wheat and metals.

Guilds and Factions

The Merchants Guild is very well represented in this city, with several areas dedicated purely to their craft.   Ravnicas Adventuring Guild also has a large building here with many request for work being posted.

History

the town has stood for almost as long as Craghammer itself, built shortly after the divergence it was originally destined to be little more than an entry and exit point for meeting and greeting the other kingdoms to find alliances that would help them rebuild after the divergence. It grew quickly into a bustling port town becoming home to people from all over the continent of WildeMount. Now it stands as a multicultural thriving city of trade.

Architecture

typical dwarven architecture dominates the centre of the city with giant stone buildings and dwarven artwork. However since the cities growth it is now mostly constructed of wooden buildings with stone foundations, small walkways spread out like a web with a few wide stone roads that are primarily used for the transport of large wagons drawn by giant Oxen Beasts.

Geography

Sat on the south coast at the mouth of the River Teer to it's East and large cliff faces to its west and rolling hills and grassland to it's north.

Natural Resources

Stormsreach only has one real natural resource, which would be it's fishing vessels that trawl the Serranean sea.
