You no doubt have many questions, and we here on the UNA Orientation Committee are more than happy to answer them for you!
Let's begin with the history of our organization. Our founder, , escaped the clutches of the terrible Church of the Blazing Sun and fled to this glorious new land in order to preserve the old ways and to preserve the arcane mysteries of his forefathers. He soon found that others like himself had also fled, and together they formed the first Inner Council of the Unseen Negotiation Agency, or ICUNA. Ever since then, we've been training fledgling agents like yourself to be skilled Unseen mediators in the hopes of maintaining the delicate balance between our world and the Unseen. It's a dangerous job, and luckily you're here to do it!
After you've filled out your Orientation Packet (in triplicate!), you will be issued your very own Agency badge! This important piece of equipment isn't merely a means of identification. It holds the authority of the Agency and all of its magical protection hexes. In the event of an encounter with an unreasonably hostile Unseen creature, your badge can be employed to temporarily rebuke a single creature, or a group of smaller creatures, and give you time to escape. Don't rely on it too heavily, though, since it only caries a single charge, and will need to be reactivated upon your return to an Agency HQ (for a nominal fee).
The next piece of kit you will be outfitted with is your standard issue pistol. While field agents are permitted to carry additional artillery, your standard issue firearm is a necessity for any mission. Loaded with either iron or silver penetrative rounds, your Agency pistol is capable of taking down quite a few fearsome foes! Additional ammunition types are available upon request (for a nominal fee), as are additional blessings, hexes, and arcane sigils.
