Upper Firan
The section of Aitaran's capitol, Firan, where most of the rich people live. This section of the city makes up for about 30% of it and is considered to be the "real" Firan.
Demographics
All the population here is extremely wealthy, causing the cost of living to be rather high as well. They all look down upon people that they view as "less" than them, namely the Lower Firanites. Although all ethnicities are in this city, the two most common ones are Human s and Cappold s, since they are the two ethnicities that are best able to handle the heat.
Government
Because the ruler of Aitaran's castle is here, they know quite a bit of what's going on in the city and have a tendency to take care of matters in Firan before the rest of the country since it is more accessible. There are strict anti-thievery laws in place along with what's viewed as the most important law: not letting any Lower Firanites in, regardless of the situation.
Defences
Because the Kirimi are housed here, they are quick to respond to any emergency. Many of them spend time patrolling the streets in search of people who are looking to cause trouble.
Industry & Trade
Upper Firan is best known for its fine linens and clothes, among other things, such as various ores.
Infrastructure
Being one of the first cities that was built after the split of the gods, it is one of the most developed, having sewers, courtyards, roads for horses and carriages, bridges, and things of that nature. They have also implemented things to help people keep cool while supplying energy, such as fans that take in heat and blow air.
Assets
Because it is home to the ruler's castle, they have a surplus of gold, food, and everything else they may need. They also have quite a bit of weaponry since the Kirimi are mainly housed here.
History
It was created very quickly after the split of the gods and became the capitol. The castle was the first thing to be built and the first queen of Aitaran, Foltaire, had a large hand in its creation. Many monuments were placed everywhere to respect mercenaries and otherwise that served the castle and its forces.
For quite a while, Firan wasn't divided. Somewhere along the way, however, the wealth began to shift and a small portion of the Firanites began to be wealthier than the others, particularly when more people started coming to Firan in hopes of selling their wares. The rich started populating the buildings closer to the castle while those who weren't as rich populated the outskirts.
Architecture
The buildings here are created with stone, oftentimes pale in color. You could liken it to Spanish architecture.
Geography
The terrain is mostly plain. There are hardly any hills, and fresh water runs through it, much opposed to the rest of the desert it's located in.
Natural Resources
Upper Firan is surprisingly not the main producer of natural resources, but anyone who's anyone knows that they have a large amount of gold in the near viscinity.
