Humans were originally the one and only race that existed. As time wore on, however, people began to mutate due to things such as overloading, and their overloaded traits were passed onto their children, causing other races to develop. They are the most flexible with magic, being able to use whatever magic they please but only being proficient in light and usually whatever magic would help them in their career of choice.
