A kind boy who wants the best for his brother. After a series of unfortunate events, the two end up forever intertwined by a scarf. He's only half-Strelan, so he struggles with full transformations. With the combined power of his brother, though, the two are able to create one polar bear for a limited time.

Pretty good physical condition. He's got a strong body that can take hits, as opposed to his brother, Num. Faster than the average person, but not super fast. Clumsy.

Personal history

Ísja and Num Delelska have been together since the day they were born. They were never meant to be apart, and their lives up until they both turned 14 were proof of that. When they were 7, their father was killed under mysterious circumstances. 2 years later, their mother disappeared without a trace.
When they were 14, he found that Num had taken on a job in order to help sustain both him and Ísja. At first, he was sure that it was an ordinary job, like working at a store or something. Soon, however, he found out that his brother had been doing both assassinations and thievery to get by. Ísja couldn't believe it. This couldn't be the twin he'd grown up with, could it? In his heart, he believed that Num could never possibly do something that awful, and yet, here they were.
During that time period, Num's prized possession, his viola, was stolen. When Ísja approached the village elder and asked him to stop Num from doing any more jobs, the village elder told him where the viola was and Ísja went to find it. When he got to the place where it was supposed to be, the Winter Castle, he found Num there, who told him to go back home. But they were too late. A man who was dressed in all white was there. They attempted to kill both Ísja and Num, but were only able to fatally wound Num with something that steadily killed him over the coming days. With that, Ísja set out to find a way to fix his brother.
On his journey, he met a man named Randy Iardor , who said that he could help him. Once Randy started helping Num, however, he realized that he'd died along the way. Ísja was so distraught and exhausted that once he stopped crying, he fell right to sleep. During the night, Randy found out that it was possible to bring Num back if they sought help from a certain god. Thus, they all sailed to a faraway island. Along the way, a mutiny broke out on the ship, leaving Randy yelling for Ísja, Num, and Hotshot , a crew member he trusted dearly, to leave on a small dinghy and find the island.
Upon reaching the island, a Euvimanite woman named Eos appeared and guided Ísja to a shrine. After praying, the New God, Yunvei , appeared and agreed to open up a gate to the Underworld to bring Num's soul back to the real world. Ísja had to be quick, though - Yunvei didn't have much power to keep the gate open, and the Underworld was never meant to be for the living.
Ísja succeeded in finding his brother's soul and started to bring him back only to fall unconscious. Luckily, however, Yunvei showed up and carried both twins to the real world. He quickly realized that Num's soul was incomplete and that he wouldn't last without some help, so he linked both Ísja and Num's lifeforces to the scarf that Ísja was wearing. Without this scarf, Ísja will fall unconscious and Num will die almost instantly.
All of this didn't come without a price. Yunvei told Ísja that in exchange for this, he would have to help him come back to corporeality. Thus, Ísja and Num wander the land in search for the instruments that are necessary in order to perform the ritual to bring him to life again.

History

The two first met when he and Num stole her harmonica under the guise of simply buying flowers. They met again when he and Num helped rescue her from the Madinizi. There, Lani viewed Ísja with some suspicion but trusted him more than his brother, while Ísja thought she seemed nice deep down and desperately wanted to be friends. The reveal that he and Num had stolen her harmonica, however, led Lani to be infuriated with the two.
After a while, Lani managed to track down the brothers and almost brought them to justice before realizing just what would happen if she did. Thus, she decided to bring them with her instead. This caused Ísja to be thankful to her.
Over time, the two became good friends, Lani trying to impress him with tricks that she could do, looking out for him and giving him advice while he started idolizing her a little and viewing her as the person he wanted to be when he was older. He genuinely thinks she's the coolest person in the world.

SEE: THEIR BACKSTORY
Through all their trials and tribulations, the two of them have forged an unbreakable bond. Num cares about Ísja more than he could care about anyone else in the whole entire world and is never mean to him in the least. Although he has trouble displaying how much he appreciates his brother at times, Ísja is capable of reading him well so it doesn't really matter whether he says it or not. Both of them will take bullets for each other and protect each other in every situation imaginable.
Deep down, however, they both worry about whether or not the other is mad at them because of the events that led up to Num's death 2 years ago...

History

Before he blessed Eos, she and her husband forced him to promise that he'd look after them and their family. He agreed that he would. Because of this, when Ísja showed up to one of Yunvei's shrines with a dead Num, Yunvei felt the pit in his stomach grow incredibly deep. He'd failed to protect someone again, this time two children that deserved so much better. After that moment, he vowed to protect them as much as he could.
Two years later, when everyone resurrected Yunvei, he became someone that Ísja felt as though he could trust. Yunvei gave him a lot of advice whenever he asked, and Ísja couldn't have been more appreciative.

These two have extremely similar pasts, leading to Yunvei wanting to help Ísja and give him a different life than the one he lived. They were both thieves to survive and both made foolish decisions in regards to gods. History

Although the two don't meet until halfway through the story, Fosru's actions go back a long way. Yunvei told him that it was likely that they were likely the one that had killed Num, which upset him deeply. Fosru couldn't care less about him. The only reason that they care about him at all is because they see him as a threat due to being a key part of the Spectral Band. They do think, however, that he's a nice boy, and if they hadn't locked away their emotions, they might just feel bad about trying to kill him.

History

Ísja and Randy met two years before the events of the story, Randy being the one to help Ísja when he showed up with his dead brother. Initially, Randy was incredibly worried about him because he was clearly falling apart at the seams, both emotionally and physically because of his long journey. However, he quickly came to see that Ísja was incredibly strong and respected him, wanting to help him in every way he could. Ísja trusted him rather quickly after he gave him some of his sandwich and tried to help him with Num Delelska (though he failed, since he was already dead). His respect for him grew even more when he agreed to help him sail to one of the shrines and moreso after that when he let him, Num, and Hotshot leave the boat while the mutiny was happening.
Over the span of two years, Ísja worried about Randy quite a bit and vice versa, both hoping the other had made it through their respective situations okay. As a result, when they saw each other, Ísja unabashedly threw himself into his arms, making the other party members wonder what history they had together. They had a lot to tell each other right off the bat.
Throughout the course of the story, Randy becomes more and more trusted by Ísja to the point of which he isn't afraid to tell him anything anymore and tells him about every little detail in his life. Randy's always more than happy to listen to him. Randy gains a tendency to throw himself in harm's way if it means protecting him and Num, something that neither of them is happy about.

History

Despite the fact that Lonan has actively shown that they want nothing to do with Ísja or Num Delelska , Ísja wants nothing more than to be their friend, even if it means he has to endure their biting remarks and the fact that they want to bring him and his brother to Fosru like they're supposed to. During the course of the story, they become better friends through Ísja's hard work and the fact that Lani Difonia seems to care very deeply about them.
Frankly, Lonan isn't quite sure why Ísja wants to be friends with them so badly. They're struck by how much he tries to talk to them and how he doesn't seem to mind the biting remarks they give him (he does mind) and is extremely interested in him just because of his naïve tendencies and the fact that no matter what, they can't quite understand why he does what he does.

After both his and Num's parents got out of the picture, the pair quickly became poor. They struggled to get meals and stay afloat. Once they started traveling, it became somewhat easier for them to get the money that they needed because they'd perform at different venues.
