Maria is a hit woman for the demon, Kestrel . She attacked Sam Blackwell outside Catrina's by the Wabasha bridge. Sam did a lot of damage to their Tesla, but left Maria for dead. Sam discovered she survived and was ordered by Viper to finish the job.
