As Kemmler made his way through the Helmgart Pass he discovers the Monastery of 'La Maisontaal' where he is initially given shelter.

As Kemmler made his way through the frozen heights of the Helmgart Pass he discovers the Monastery of 'La Maisontaal' where he is initially given shelter by the monks of The Order of the White Stag. He was now beyond the borders of the Empire and the monks appeared to be courteous and hospitable. Kemmler imagined that at least, he had found a safe haven for a little while to gather his strength and plan his future.
