Kemmler Returns From The Dead

De Muscadet has a vision confirming that Kemmler was still alive.

The searchers were wrong. For forty years Kemmler was assumed to be dead, but two weeks ago De Muscadet, now near death himself, had a vision. He saw his old enemy Kemmler, and knew that he was not only still alive but on the verge of regaining his power and more besides. De Muscadet saw an ancient burial mound deep in the mountains and heard the name Zwemmer who he knew to be the now-legendary leader of the Blueblooded Bandits.   When he awoke he immediately summoned his deputy and nominated successor Jean-Louis Dinitrans, who had been nothing more than an initiate in the order at the time when Kemmler's was driven from the monastery. De Muscadet told him of his vision and warned him that Kemmler had returned from the dead and may be a threat to the monastery. Two days later De Muscadet passed away leaving Dinitrans the new Master of La Maisontaal with the problem of what to do about Kemmler.
