The Reiksfeuer is a huge stone lighthouse topped by a beacon intended to guide deepwater ships into the Reiksport at night.
The Reiksfeuer also serves as a bell and signal tower. Signal operators use variously coloured flags to send messages to the Imperial Fleet during daylight and after dusk, they flash signals to the fleet using shutters over the beacon.
Atop the lighthouse is a griffon statue holding an anchor. The standard lighthouse crew includes a pilot, a charcoal burner, and a Dwarf engineer
