Luiggi's Restaurant
Luiggi Pavarotti established his small pasta house on the western edge of the Reikmarkt just off the Tilean Weg in order to capture the business of shoppers and tradesmen wishing to take a break from their business to rest their feet and enjoy his food. It serves traditional Tilean street food, mostly Arancino (Filled Rice Balls), Calzone (A sealed bread pasty with various fillings), “Mozzarella in a carriage” which consists of sliced cheeze coated in egg and breadcrumbs, farrinata (A chick pea based bread) and Pani câ Meusa (A sesame seeded bun filled with non-descript fried meat.)
The aim being to provide customers with food which is qick and easy to eat and can either be eaten on the premises or taken and eaten on the move.
