Zloran War for Independence
The Conflict
Prelude
Before 120, Galavnaya's king appointed an overseer to the Zloran peninsula. The appointed leader frequently had only the crown's interests in mind while making decisions which impacted the citizens of Zlora. Unrest grew until several small groups began harassing Galavnayan official trade routes and travelers coming to and from the port city of Rix Ahme. When the Duke Apparent of Eventide, Amir Morgan was killed in a conflict with Galavnayan agents on the Belhage River, Zloran citizens cried out and called it assassination. Chereladi responded politically by denouncing Galavnaya and pledging their military support to Zloran freedom fighters. Kargasa followed suit several months later and Galavnaya finally declared open war with Zlora and its supporters in 120.
