In the south white belt, it should be no surprise that there are many mountains. The farther north or south you go you will eventually get to impassible mountain ranges that make up the caps of the planet. However, in the south, there is a unique feature. As opposed to the north where many narrow and ever-deepening crevasses splinter the land, the south pole fuses its mountain ranges into one extremely large peak that is directly at the south pole. It is said that no mortal has gotten to the peak as it is outside the atmosphere. But that might just be because few have even seen it or care to travel that far south, to begin with.

Geography

This mountain is the result of three tectonic plates meeting at a point and driving an extremely sharp and singular point high into the air and even a little beyond the atmosphere. As such gravity and even certain magical properties associated with the world are said to be weakened here. But no hard confirmation has ever been given to these claims.

Localized Phenomena

There appears an aura of light in the sky here every night. This causes the light levels to never drop below a certain point and instead anyone that spent the night would experience a day that never ended.

Fauna & Flora

Animals avoid the areas near the peak but the mid and low levels of the range are packed with a diverse choice of birds, goats, stone eaters, and other fauna. Flora is scarse however there is heavy lichen cover at all levels and hearty conifers cling to any ledges they can all the way up to the atmosphere berier.

Natural Resources

There is said to be a unique ore here that can be found nowhere else. Dwarfs believe the Inti-fall is hidden here but there is no evidence to support this claim.
