Abilities: Instruction

Instruction covers the various aspects of teaching and pedagogical theory. While this talent includes the traditional style of imparting knowledge in a classroom setting, it also covers mentorships, creating video tutorials, and other informal educational styles. The instruction talent is not required in order to teach another character an ability or power, but it can greatly expedite the learning process when the material is presented in meaningful and well planned lessons. For each success a character rolls on an instruction roll the length of time required to gain a new ability or power is reduced by 50%. For particularly successful instruction rolls the GM may even reduce the experience point cost of acquiring a new ability or power by one point for the student. Furthermore, an instructor can only teach what they know. A character with a Bio-medicine score of 3 cannot teach a student how to get their 4th level of Bio-medicine.

Ability Levels:

0	Abysmal: You do an action and then point to the result hoping others are able to follow in your footsteps.
1	Novice: You have an intuitive knack for presenting information in an orderly fashion. You are able to explain a difficult concept in simplified language.
2	Practiced: You could make a living or earn extra income as a teacher or tutor.
3	Competent: You have mastered several prevalent theories of teaching pedagogy and you are able to identify student learning needs and implement best practices.
4	Expert: You are a sought out mentor in your field. Struggling students praise your teaching techniques.
5	Master: You are a true pioneer in educational theory and philosophy. Professional educators read your ideas and marvel at the elegance of your methods.

Players may choose a specialty at level 4 and gain a second specialty at level 5.
