Born in Hamilton, Ontario and moved to Queen City for work. He quickly befriended Lyne and Ricky a few months after settling down.
His felt that being a cop was a good idea and had faith in the law. He went through depression and alcoholism and has coped with it because he felt like he wasn't making a difference and (possibly unknown to him) a chemical imbalance in his brain.
He rose from a Sergeant to Police Chief.
