Poog of Zarongel

Poog is best! Just ask him. Or ask Chuffy, but Chuffy will believe anything.
Poog is an imperious little monster. His belief in his own superiority is matched only by his belief in Zarongel. While Poog is not what we'd call smart, he is quite tough, brave, and has a lot of common sense... for a goblin, anyway. However, he is prone to shrieking tantrums when he doesn't get his way.
When he was a whelp, Poog's overly sensitive nature made him into the object of mischief. Several young goblins created a game called "Taunt the Poog" where they competed to provoke him into a tantrum without getting stabbed or burned. Only his friends Mogmurch, Rempty, Reta, and Chuffy refrained from this cruel game. That's why his friends are still alive and the the others... not so much. Poog takes his vengeance very seriously.
After listening to Nasty Grammel, the Licktoad's current cleric, Poog was in awe of Zarongel, the god of dog-killing, sacred fire, and holy mounted combat. The fact that Poog is terrible at mounted combat is his not-so-secret shame. He funnels most of his energy into into attempts to over-achieve in his god's other sacred teachings; Killing dogs, and lighting fires. He believes he is Zarongel's chosen.
Also, Poog is dead. Sort of. Someone, probably Zarongel, sent him back to continue his holy quest. Poog isn't entirely sure what the quest entails, but he'll probably figure it out eventually. In the meantime, he just tells everyone else that it's a secret.

And Poog also stab you with knife if you make fun of how he isn't good at riding animals!
