Non-Human Speech

Extrapolating from the success of Dog speech buttons, we can assume dog's are capable of linguistic communication. We can also assume there are brain wave patterns associated with the words the dog communicates through buttons. Therefore, it is possible to make a device that monitors a dog's brain waves and outputs human speech via a speaker attached at the collar. Similar technology could be applied to enable linguistic communication in all species capable of it.
