Yenna
Yenna is a young, chatty newsie working for the Waterdeep Wazoo. A constant presence in the North Ward, she is best known for racing through the streets each morning, breathlessly shouting headlines and selling papers with relentless enthusiasm. Always full of energy, Yenna is a walking newsstand of gossip, rumors, and barely-contained excitement. She’s observant, loud in the best way, and often a step ahead of the average passerby.
Her voice carries like a bell down the alleyways of Trollskull, announcing stories of cabbage monsters, squid-faced sewer beasts, and councilman scandals with the same glee as pie contest results and cat-related mishaps. While most assume she’s just repeating what she’s heard, Yenna takes pride in knowing which sources to trust and which stories to sell.
She’s grown friendly with the staff at the Frightened Ferret, especially Grayson, who she once followed back to the tavern to meet Thorn. Her curiosity knows no bounds, and her wide-eyed fascination with all things haunted or heroic has made her both endearing and exhausting in equal measure.
Though just a kid with a news bag, Yenna moves through the city like she owns it, always chasing the next headline and always ready to tell you what’s really going on in Waterdeep.
