Rolan Thandriel
Rolan Thandriel was a high elf of humble origins and quiet ambition who revitalized Trollskull Manor in the early 1400s DR. Where others saw a decaying structure, Rolan saw an opportunity to build something meaningful—a tavern that welcomed all walks of life. Under his stewardship, the manor became a vibrant community hub, filled with laughter, stories, and shared purpose. He recognized the dedication of a young tiefling laborer, Aldan Thornshade, and eventually sold the manor to him for a symbolic price. Rolan then returned to Baldur’s Gate to oversee his other ventures, trusting Thorn to carry on what they had built. His legacy lives on in the spirit of inclusion and resilience that continues to shape the North Ward.
