Didius Trumball is a former member of Waterdeep’s council, best known for his pompous demeanor, inflated self-regard, and a string of absurd proposals, including his notorious push to build a giant wall around the city. His blustering political style and tone-deaf policies gradually alienated both colleagues and constituents.
After being caught cheating at cards in the Yawning Portal, a scandal he dismissed as a setup, Trumball’s popularity declined sharply. He lost his bid for re-election and responded by publicly accusing his opponents of fraud.
