21: Bypassing the Force (7-8th of Tarshak)

Using their magic carpet and locate object spells the party began searching the city for the porcelain mask worn by their abductor and surprisingly got a hit while travelling by the Kolat Towers. Despite the late hour, discovering the tower was protected by a force field the party decided to teleport through it. 
The party fought their way through a number of Zhent thugs before encountering a burly orc armoured in black leather who was sitting in an arm chair reading a book. The party wisely left Yorn alone before making their way up the blockhouse. Slaughtering more Zhents, the party rescued a gargoly who claimed to be Lady Gondafrey, who was imprisoned by the Kolat brothers. 
With Lady Gondafrey's help the part stormed up the Western tower, interrupting the ritual summoning of an ape like demon. invisible
