When the Vampire Virus ravaged Earth and the human population 90 years ago, they saw no other option than to flee to the stars. With the assistance of the both the Shan'all and Exoi species, several hundred thousand uninfected humans managed to make it to safety. Many of those settled in the Sillion system, with the majority choosing Sillion Prime for their new home. On those planets they grew vast cities and colonies, once again with the assistance of the Shan'all and Exoi. Others settled in the surrounding systems, forming settlements similar to refugee encampments. Over the years the human populations thrived, expanding their technical knowledge until it rivalled that of the other species they lived among. Individuals and groups spread out from their colonies wanting to explore the universe, until it was no longer rare a sight to see humans mingling among other races on inter-species colonies and planets.
Eventually with the rise of A237, all of the human planets and colonies were taken and placed under narrative control.
