History
At the behest of Oskar Daubmann, Gotti trained Kant to defend herself. He developed a strong fatherly bond with the young woman. On Kant's part, while initially terrified of the big Tilean, she warmed up to him after numerous instances of Gotti protecting both Kant and Daubmann. He is one of the few men she permits to hug her and she truly enjoys the stories he tells of his old adventures.
Nicknames & Petnames
Gotti calls Kant "Donna ", a Tilean form of address for a woman of noble blood. The nickname has caught on with some of the lower ranks. Kant calls Gotti "Zio" at his request. It means "Uncle" in Tilean.
Relationship Reasoning
Although their initial relationship started at the behest of Oskar Daubmann, Gotti finds himself enthralled by the young girl's wit and beauty, but not in a lustful way. Kant, who barely remembers her father, adopted Gotti as her father figure, someone always looking out for her.
History
After being rescued at sea by Daubmann, Gotti swore a life debt to him. Now his erstwhile and extremely formidable protector, Gotti values his charge's life over his own. Daubmann is very much grateful for Gotti's protection; he wouldn't have survived several assassination attempts otherwise. He trusts Gotti to keep the ranks in line and often defers to him in matters involving violence.
Nicknames & Petnames
Gotti addresses Daubmann as "Don", a Tilean honorific for noblemen. Daubmann often uses the Tilean term "Capo", short for "Capo Bastone", meaning Underboss while referring to Gotti.
Relationship Reasoning
Daubmann rescued Gotti at the start and Gotti has protected Daubmann many times over in return.
Shared Secrets
History
Falko is not found of Gotti. He hovers too close to Daubmann, making it difficult to execute any plan. On top of that, Falko thinks of the Tilean as a big, dumb brute, too quick to resort to violence and more than willing to part with coin for female companionship rather than charming his way into their knickers like a true man should. Gotti is not amused by Falko's backbiting and disrespect of Daubmann. Furthermore, he views Falko as a weakling and a spendthrift, unwilling to dirty that pretty sword and wasting money on fancy clothes and hats. He's more than content to let Falko think him the fool but is more than ready, and willing, to crack his skull open at any sign of trouble.
Nicknames & Petnames
Falko often calls Gotti "Musclehead". Gotti refers to Falko as "Don Farabutto", Lord Scoundrel in Tilean.
Relationship Reasoning
The polar opposite of each other in outlook and loyalty to Daubmann, it's only natural they are antagonistic towards each other.
History
Klopp and Gotti are responsible for expanding the membership of the SchwarzeNägel. Klopp knows without Gotti, there would have been no way that he could have recruited the necessary fighting men for the gang nor would he have been able to advise Daubmann regarding more violent endeavours. Furthermore, Gotti has long served as protector to both Daubmann and Klopp, having taken the brunt of many assassination attempts on them. While he does not publicly display any affection for the big Tilean, Klopp certainly thinks well of him. Gotti knows Klopp as the brains of the outfit - Daubmann may be leading and holding everything together but without Klopp, the SchwarzeNägel would have floundered at the very beginning. He is terrified at Klopp's vast knowledge of almost anything but was pleasantly surprised to discover that the old man could converse with him in Tilean. Gotti genuinely respects and is fond of Klopp and will be sad when Morr comes knocking.
Nicknames & Petnames
Gotti refers to Klopp as "Dottore", a Tilean term for a learned man. Klopp refers to Gotti using his Tilean title, "Capo".
Relationship Reasoning
While polar opposites in terms of expertise, both men are well aware of each others capabilities and genuinely respect each other for it. Furthermore, they are bonded by the same goal - that of further advancing the prosperity of the SchwarzeNägel .
History
The Tilean found the Ungol picking a fight in one of the SchwarzeNägel's many taverns. He was impressed at the smaller man's mettle, particularly when he would not be stared-down despite being a good two heads shorter than Gotti. A job offer came soon after. Khulan respects the Capo of the SchwarzeNägel, even admitting that he would not be able to defeat the man in a fair or unfair fight.
Relationship Reasoning
Both being outsiders in the Empire, the foreigners have a good working relationship, ensuring that the racketeering continues with little disruption.
