5th March

General Summary

The group arrived at Bogenhafen and docked at the wharf.
They met with the dock boss Jochen Haagen at Haagen’s Wharf who offered to buy their goods off them so that they didnt have to go around town and sell it all individually. After some good and bad haggling the group sold all the crates of goods they had for 5 Gold and 70 Silver.
As part of the deal they had the next 4 days of the docking fee paid for and had bed and board paid for at The Half-Measure Tavern for the 4 days as well.
Next the group decided to go to The Schaffenfest festival that was being held outside town.
Helena handed out the pocket money to most of the group (1 gold each except Walter who forgot to ask for money)  and then the group split up to explore
Trym and Callie explored and were drawn to a fortune teller where Trym got her fortune read. The teller looked deep into her crystal ball and foretold her to "Watch out for the green eyes, they will be the death of your art". After leaving the fortune teller they walked into a bunch of drunk yokels. They started shouting abuse at them and making fun of them. The fumes of the fortune teller tent seemed to make Callie drunker and Trym had to drag her away. Luckily one of the drunks tried to throw a rotten fruit at them and hit one of his friends instead. A fight broke out and the watch got involved. Luckily he halflings escaped round the corner before this. Later on Callie sat on the ground and dug through her bag and ate a bunch of stalwort powder to sober herself up. It wasn't cocaine we think. Next they went exploring the medical shows and stalls. Unfortunately almost all were fake goods selling things like wonder tonic to cure sore stomachs, virgin elven bath mud to give you good skin, sweat off a frogs back to remove boils. Callie could see through them all. They did find a reputable stall selling remedies. Callie hit it off with the owner Elvyra Kleinestun and after some discussion she offered to train Callie in the arts of apocathery.
Walter and Sunny went wandering and ended up in the seedier end of the festival and ended up eating some pretty rubbish food from a stall called Meat and two veg. They were then accosted by beggars asking for donation. Sunny gave one of them a pickled goblin ear. The beggar ran off with his prize and left the others to beg. From here Sunny refused to give any more to them and they then followed them around for a while berating and throwing abuse at them. Next they wandered round more and Sunny found a high end fletcher and purchased the tools needed for her to make her own bow. From here they met up with the halflings.
Leon and Helena went towards to wrestling ring and on the way ended up in a beer tent and had a drink. They moved on and encountered a group of mimes in the street. They quickly hid back in the beer tent to get away from the mimes. After they went to the wrestling ring and Leon eyed up the champ and was asking Helena if he should challenge him. Before he could decide a crowd member shoved him in and shouted "I'll challenge him". What came next was several rounds of back and forth fighting between the two men. Before the champ could lay in some serious blows Leon ducked in and knocked the champ out with a powerful uppercut. He was declared the winner and received the 4 gold prize.
The group met back up but shortly after Walter saw two men giving him hand signs. They went behind some tents and decided to follow them. Sunny spotted this happening and decided to give Walter 5 minutes with the men before getting involved. The men then gave Walter more hand signs which seemed to be a password of some sorts but Walter didn't know the correct response to give. The men argue that Walter is Gunter but he doesn't know what their talking about. One of the men pulls a knife and goes to attack him. Walter doesn't want to fight and decides to cast a spell. He instantly casts a spell Evil Eye which made the knife wielder fall unconscious and made the other man piss himself and run off. Walter rooted through the mans stuff and found a note explaining the call signs and a demand to destroy the note when done with it. In addition he found a purple handprint tattoo on the mans upper arm. Sunny came round the corner looking concerned as she saw the change in the winds of magic around the tents when Walter cast the spell.
Finally the group wandered round some more and Trym caught the smell of food she swore she could recognize. They followed it and found a large red stall with the sign Von Pieman's Pie's across the front and at the front there was Hendrich Von Pieman who greeted them warmly and exclaimed that he thought they had died.
