Historical Events 2000 - 3000 AD
2000 AD- 3000 AD
On the 1st of Hammer, 2085 AD, an extraordinary phenomenon occurred across the seas surrounding the Yvelian Nation. For an entire year, not a single storm was reported—an unprecedented calm believed to be a divine blessing from Thalor, the human god of the sea and storms. This peaceful year allowed for flawless maritime trade and travel, and in honor of the event, the Yvelians established the annual Festival of Calm Seas to commemorate Thalor’s favor. In 2170 AD, a group of orcish skalds from the Ironclaw Horde composed a sweeping epic known as the Ballad of the Ironclaw Horde. This powerful composition blended thundering drums, ritualistic chanting, and the signature throat-singing unique to their people. The ballad recounted the rise of their chieftain and chronicled the history, struggles, and triumphs of their civilization. It became a cherished cultural symbol within the Horde and earned the admiration of neighboring nations, revealing a rich artistic tradition often overlooked in orcish society.By 2200 AD, the Orc Tribes of Greenhill had grown increasingly discontent with the commercial exploitation of their sacred lands. Choosing peaceful protest over violence, they initiated the Greenhill Reformation—a months-long movement demanding protection for their cultural and spiritual heritage. Their perseverance led to the passage of new laws restricting commercial activity in certain regions and granting formal preservation status to the sacred tribes, marking a major victory for orcish autonomy and cultural preservation.
