The Amber Pope degrees that the Eternal Hunters are an official religious organization of the Steadfast.

The organization began its path towards becoming powerful and influential under the leadership of Hunter S. Thompson. Thompson's abrasive but charismatic personality helped draw together other's of similar renegade spirit. The organization's name Eternal Hunters was bestowed upon The original Amber Pope upon their successful eradication of an Ancient Relic device that was being utilized to reanimate and control corpses. The Amber Pope proclaimed them an official religion of the Steadfast and granted them lands in Qi. This was one several decrees the Amber Pope formally gave prior to his disappearance into the Amber Monolith.
