The Circlet's Ward is a "natural law" which refers to the safety of staying on the inside of the The Fahn Circlet. It is regarded as an invisible magical barrier which the powers of mind control and telepathy cannot pass.
The general opinion is that inside of the Fahn Circlet, life is less dangerous. There are less dangerous diseases, wild beasts, odd stories of terrors, and more control. The lands outside of the Circlet are generally more dangerous to live in, though those who live there do not regard it to be that much worse. It has been observed that the further away from the Fahn Circlet one is, the more danger they are in.
It is now entirely known where this belief comes from, nor why it seems to be true. If one were to look at history, staying inside of the Fahn Circlet would mean more danger, as that was where the Masters of the The Tidal Empire were when they were imprisoned.
