Muril (Myoo-Ril)

Muril are a bipedal race of mouse-like humanoids, they are a fairly common race amongst civilised cultures and are known for being quite industrious.
Appearance
Muril have a rounded skull leading forward into pointed snout tipped with a flesh coloured wet nose sitting between a pair of forward facing eyes either side of their head. Depending on the species, they either have rounded expressive ears vary in size. Some species have natural manes of flowing hair from the top of their heads thicker than the fur on their bodies. Female Muril have a pair of mammary glands upon their chest for breast-feeding their young.

They have round coloured pupils surrounding a circular iris sitting in the center of white sclera's. They have a mix of of flat and pointed teeth with a large pair of canines at the front of their maws.

Muril have three thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, with each digit terminating in a narrow claw-like nail. They stand on digitigrade legs, supported by strong paw-like feet. Each foot has three long digits each tipped with thin claws, their hands and feet are covered in exposed skin rather than fur.

Muril have skinny fleshy tails for balance, usually reaching half of the individual's standing height in length.

Typically, their blood is red.

Physiology
Muril are mammals who give live birth, they reach an age of sexual maturity at the age of 14 and physically peak at the age of 22, reaching their elderly years in their 70's. They are Omnivores with teeth designed for meat, fruit and vegetables. They have strong immune systems. they have an improved sense hearing.

Muril have slightly above average sentient intelligence, reaching mental maturity at around the age of 18 then full development around the age of 25.

• They have slightly smaller narrower frames with an average height of 3-4 feet.
• They have a very thin layer of fur over their whole bodies, excluding their forearms, hands and their legs from the knee downwards.
• They have flatter feet with longer paws and flexible toes, with legs more fit for swift jumping.
• They are resistant to the heat, yet sensitive to the cold.

Rukari

• They have larger pointed ears.
• They have broader snout with gentle curve.
• They have a thick furred tail.
• They have a thin layer of fur all over their bodies with tick tufts about their bodies.
• They have larger frames with an average height of 5-6 feet
• They have broad, flatter feet at the base of muscular legs fit for powerful leaps.
