Dorath (door-ath)

Dorath are a bipedal race of Feline humanoids, They are a fairly common race in Vynari that mostly thrive in civilised cultures and are known for their agility and wit.
Appearance
Dorath have a rounded skull flattening out at the front with a slightly protruding nose. Depending on species they have pointed expressive ears varying in shape and size. They have natural manes of flowing hair from the top of their head thicker then the fur on their bodies. Dorath have fur of varying lengths which cover their whole bodies. Female Dorath have a pair of mammary glands upon their chest for breast-feeding their young.

They have round coloured pupils surrounding a narrow slit shaped iris sitting in the center of white sclera's. They have a mix of of flat and pointed teeth with a set of canines at the front of their maws.

Dorath have three thick fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand, with each digit terminating in a narrow retractable claw-like nail. They stand on digitigrade legs, supported by strong padded paw-like feet. Each foot has four paw-like digits each tipped with thin claws.

Dorath have flexible, agile furred tails for balance, usually reaching half of the individual's standing height in length.

Typically, their blood is red.
Physiology
Dorath are Mammals who give live birth, they reach an age of sexual maturity at the age of 16 and physically peak at the age of 45, reaching their elderly years in their 80's. They are Omnivores with teeth designed for meat, fruit and vegetables. They have average immune systems. They have a improved hearing and decent low-light vision.

Dorath have slightly above average sentient intelligence, reaching mental maturity at around the age of 18 then full development around the age of 25.
