Aru'asha (Ah-roo-ash-ah)

Aru'asha are a bipedal race of reptilian humanoids, they are a less common race often found in more tribal cultures than civilised ones.

Appearance
Aru'asha have a rounded skull leading forward into a narrow snout with two forward facing eyes either side of their head. They have scaled scale-ridges or smooth scaled heads typically with earholes either side. Aru'asha have scales covering their body.

They have round coloured pupils surrounding a narrow slitted iris sitting in the center of white sclera's. They have a mix of flat and pointed teeth with a large pair of canines at the front of their maws.

Aru'asha have four thick fingers in a Zygodactyly arrangement, with each digit terminating in a thick claws. They stand on digitigrade legs, supported by strong paw-like feet. Each foot has three digits with an opposable dewclaw, all tipped with thick short talons.

Aru'asha have long tails for balance, usually reaching half of the individual's standing height in length.

Typically, their blood is Green.
  Physiology
Aru'asha are cold blooded reptilians who lay 2-5 eggs, they reach an age of sexual maturity at the age of 14 and physically peak at the age of 22, reaching their elderly years in their 50's. They are Carnivores with teeth designed for meat. They have an incredibly strong immune systems, a heightened sense of smell and decent low-light vision. They are resistant to the heat, yet sensitive to the cold. They also have slightly hunched forward frames.

Aru'asha have bellow average sentient intelligence and a weaker sense of empathy or emotional attachment, reaching mental maturity at around the age of 14 then full development around the age of 20.

  • They have expressive ear-frills.

  • They have various ridge patterns along their heads often mixing with horn patterns.

  • They have harder pointed scales down their backs and tails with a plated underbelly.
  • They have an average height of 5-7 feet.
Gha'ratha
  • They have more pronounced eye-ridges.
  • They have angular slightly longer snouts with exterior teeth lining their maws.

  • They have internal air sacks making them capable of holding their breath for several hours.

They are Predominantly Aru'asha with Ia'kar features with a low chance of conception.
