Holy Order of Malphas

The Holy Order of Malphas is a religious organization dedicated to the service of the Lightborn god Malphas. The Holy Order of Malphas also holds significant political sway in the country of Enderal where their headquarters are located. The headquarters of the Holy Order was originally the First Foothold a massive fortress that has since been abandoned thanks to a massive fungal plague in the area around the castle. After the fungal plague ravaged the Whisperwood Malphas created the Sun Temple, and the city or Ark began to grow around it. The Sun Temple is still the main headquarters of the Holy Order and has been for thousands of years. The temple sits at the top of a mountain carved to resemble the warrior god Malphas holding aloft the temple.
The Holy Order is currently lead by Tealor Arantheal father of Narathzul Arantheal who was the very man who killed the Lightborn. The second in command of the holy order is the Truchessa, the current Truchessa is Natara Del'Varem. Other top leaders include the Archmagister, currently Lexil Merrayil, and the Signet Master, currently Jorek Bartarr. 
For thousands of years Enderal has had a caste system called the Paths of which there are three of, the Sublime, Workers, and Pathless. The Holy Order for many years did not allow any Pathless into the Holy Order, this meant no non Enderalan person could join the Holy Order as Paths aren't apart of any other culture. This changed recently when five Pathless were allowed the join the Holy Order of Malphas. Poppo Hedgehopper, Nalia Malphason, BobE, Turngut Ulgratch, and Calia Sakaresh were allowed to join the Holy Order. Of the five only three remain in the Holy Order, with Turngut Ulgratch being killed and BobE being permanently expelled from the Holy Order for practicing necromancy within the Sun Temple.
