Tharin, The Conqueror

Tharin the Conqueror was a powerful warlord and Nurscan king who led the first humans of the Nurscan mountains to overthrow the Odran Empire and found the Delaran Empire.
Once beginning to build his new empire, Tharin was faced with warlords, hostile kingdoms, and untamed wilds on all sides. He would spend the rest of his days expanding and securing the Delaran empire. By the time he passed, he had built Delara from the makeshift band of rebels into the foundations of the world-spanning force it is today. While many Delarans would herald this as a time of noble conquest, the truth is that Tharin forcefully and often violently bent the knee of any who would stand before him. The actions of the Conqueror would echo for hundreds of years, imbuing Delaran culture with the fervent militarism and blind loyalty which had grown within him after a lifetime of war. Tharin died an old man, and a semi-divine figure to his people. Great statues of he and Fang would be built throughout Delara, and the name Tharin the Conqueror would be spoken with honor by some, and reviled by others for generations to come.
