Thri-Kreen

The Thri-Kreen are a race of sentient insects who live in the Kxa Desert in Southeast Laivra. The Thri-Kreen mostly keep to themselves, though in previous centuries they guarded the now-adandoned prison of Dasylirion. They communicate in a series of clicks and are unable to speak common, though they can understand it. Thri-Kreen are a playable race in this setting and can be fleshed out on player request.
