Summary

The Shieldrenders are a mercenary company from Northwest Sakilos that fled their native land after a series of lost battles. The company currently resides in Parthil where they have been intermitantly employed in putting down the peasant revolts in Old Riochtan. The company is led by Rex Koltar, a Half-Orc as famous for his disfigured face as his ruthlessness on the battlefield. The company is known for its lack of discipline and a mixed record in battle, but its low cost relative to most other companies keeps it employed.
