The Phoenix Four ruined an Orc's day and competed in the non-magical events of the Loxian Games.
Connecting the Dots
Sandy came out of his flashback seizure and told the party and Acquilana about the memory. The Genasi had her own flashback, indicating that whatever is affecting the party's memory also affected her. Acquilana used her knowledge of geography and architecture to deduce that the flashback took place between central Cirithas and northern Athrada. She also remembered travelling by that area on her way to Huaba, a floating cloud city that was moving away from Nekrosa to the Washujin Channel at the time. Huaba and Nekrosa are the places where the Tabaxi nurses mentioned that the black soot disease originated from.Not So Big Boy
After qualifying for most of their events, the party set their sights on Big Boy, a Orc who was likely to win the non-magical wrestling competition. Since they had nobody who could stand up to him in that competition, they messed with his sleep and mental wellbeing as a means to stop him from winning. After repeatedly challenging him to fights, exposing his mommy issues, and preventing him from getting a full nights' sleep leading up to the first day of competition, Big Boy was unceremoniously knocked out in the early rounds of the non-magical wrestling competition.Mundane Monday
Sandy participated in the non-magical mile race, the first event of the day. More accustomed to sprinting, he got out too quickly and was overtaken by half the field. Thankfully, due to a combination of sabotage from another racer and going out too hard, Fireclaw of the Orangemountain Clan only placed in third in the event. Tana participated in the nonmagical target competition, where she came in second place. Sandy rounded out the day for the party in the mountain climbing competition. He shadowed the Athradan athlete, a Satyr named Nonemos, who he was able to overtake due to seismological sabotage from Hoppity Harry's teammate.
