PW9 - In the Bag

General Summary

The Party left Ramanthas, met a god, and ran into some bandits.

Leaving Ramanthas

Gwynnestri told the party that heading through Vishaam, which is neutral in the war and has no love for their enemies, would be the safest course. After carefully selecting a horse that could hold Tikvah's weight, everyone but Sandy mounted up and headed for the border. They roomed in a tavern in Taifon their first night. Tana and Nyssa tried the local specialty, a fermented pineapple drink bittered with powdered manticore stinger. It was strong and the hangover was stronger, but there were no other lingering effects.

Hermes

Nyssa, now even more curious about the bag that made her arm smell back in Ramanthas, stuck in more limbs and eventually was pulled in. She met the Satyr god Hermes. At the time she was unaware of his identity, due in part to him taking Fol Goliath form. She gambled away the party's magic lance with him, only for Tana to win it back later, pissing off the god in the process. Hermes mentioned in both encounters that the area inside of the bags is part of his domain. Gwynnestri, the only one in the group to realize the gravity of what was happening, tried to contact the god, but only had her robes change to light blue and dark green.

The Abjurers

In northern Dohirin Coast, Tikvah talked to a Human traveller and learned of The Abjurers, a group of bandits led by a mage wearing the robes of a University of Ramanthas student. The group is very fond of wordplay involving their name, and months spent robbing people on the road with impunity seem to have made them complacent. The fight was in progress as the session ended.
