PW5 - River Dick Artistry

General Summary

You distributed the loot, interrogated your captives, then left with Bloodletter to track down more of the Deviltongue Brutes.

Interrogation

Zaluoh learned that there were still people up at the lake during the flood and got confirmation of his suspicion that there are other groups patrolling quite close. Due to Nyssa's sword, you learned that there are at least 100 mercenaries in the nearby area, including those you've already fought. They are nearly finished building a small fort somewhere to the north. Everyone is teleported in and out, so its exact location is also unclear.

Tracking

Bloodletter easily found the track of the group and you follow them to a small river using Gwynnestri's familiar. She sees four bone devils, one leonin priest, twelve mercenaries including four archers, and another person wearing a tattered dress. At the river, one of those archers stayed behind to scout out their rear and shouted to the rest of the mercenaries when he saw you.

Combat

Sandy quickly dispatched the archer and you hid from the bone devils, who you were able to surround before they found you. You defeated the Fiends with some difficulty, then followed the mercenaries across the river. Their tracks led a cave entrance in an old Dwarvish ruin.
