Excerpt from the Visentia Daily: Bitocci's Floating Caravan

Florestal is known for its amazing works of artifice without the use of magic. Inventors, artists, architects, and the like are always on the hunt for the next great invention that will help carry the world into the future. One famous artificer that those of us at Visentia Daily had the honor of interviewing. The famous inventor Gesora Bitocci: the woman who helped usher forth a new era in boat making. She told us of her fantastical "Floating Caravan", a whimsical vehicle that combines a wagon's wheels with the body of a moderately-sized trawler! For the past few months, she's been giving free rides to the rich and poor alike. Ms. Bitocci miraculously combines the two by making a system in which the wheels, made from light steel, can still turn and handle the weight of this massive vessel. She calls this system a, "coupling rod". She has combined the convenience of a covered wagon with the sea-worthiness of a schooner.   Ms. Bitocci had this to tell all of our lovely readers, "Hello to you, lovely citizens of Visentia! It is I, Gesora Bitocci, inventor of all things whimsical and free! At the request of a merchant who found the inconvenience of hiring so many people to move goods from shore to waterways and back, I created Bitocci's Floating Caravan. I've been testing and tweaking the original design with a few of my test models. At this time, I shall answer the most popular question from those that have been aboard! The question was about what exactly this vessel would be used for. A simple answer, I daresay everything! The common man can use such a boat to take their lover out for a lovely evening or simply for recreation, a merchant can cut out a middleman to transport from land to water and back, and the military can use such a thing to easily traverse the river Sarecci and get right back on land! Not to mention that this makes an excellent vessel for the transportation of people! I've implemented a brand-new steam-powered engine invented by the lovely Selvi Harano, an inventor that challenges even my intellect! This engine allows the Caravan to move up the river. Unbelievable, I'm sure so, please come to see it for yourself over the next week or so!"     If you wish to catch this wonderful sight, Ms. Bitocci informs us that it can be viewed by the shipping yard in the southeastern sea-ward.
