Encumbrance Rules
Carrying Capacity
A character’s maximum carrying weight is determined by their Strength score.
Formula: STR × 10 = Maximum Weight (lbs.)
Weight Categories & Movement

| ≤10% | Ultra-Light | +40 ft./turn |
| ≤40% | Light | 30 ft./turn |
| ≤70% | Medium | 20 ft./turn |
| ≤100% | Heavy | 10 ft./turn |
| >100% | Super Heavy (Overweight) | 5 ft./turn |
| >Max +100 lbs. | Immobile | Cannot move |
Notes
Rounding: Always round up when calculating thresholds (e.g., 41% counts as 70%).
Dropping Weight: A character may drop carried items as a free action to instantly reduce encumbrance.
Dragging: A character may drag 2× their maximum weight but only at 5 ft. per turn.
Party Cooperation: Two characters working together can carry/drag up to 1.5× their combined maximum.
