Diplomatic action

The capital of Formir was alive with the hum of anticipation. Rumors of unrest had been circulating for weeks, but the prevailing mood was one of cautious optimism. Qabei, known for his calm and diplomatic approach, had called for a public audience with the disgruntled faction. It was a rare sight, the ruler himself addressing grievances in the grand hall, his presence alone enough to instill a sense of order. The people gathered, confident they would witness another masterful display of Qabei's renowned diplomacy, grateful that his steady hand would guide them through yet another crisis without incident.

### Qabei's Rebellion

The air in the capital of Formir was tense yet deceptively calm. Qabei, the ruler known for his unflappable demeanor, stood at the heart of the grand hall, addressing the concerns of his people with his usual grace and diplomacy. The city had been whispering of unrest for weeks, but no one believed it would come to this. I was just a wanderer passing through, drawn by the rumors of rebellion, but what I witnessed was beyond anything I could have imagined.

Qabei stood tall, his voice a soothing balm to the frayed nerves of the crowd. He spoke of unity, of the strength that came from standing together in the face of adversity. His words were carefully measured, his tone unwaveringly calm. The rebels, a small faction disgruntled by recent policies, were granted an audience with him. It was a testament to his belief in diplomacy over conflict. He listened patiently, addressing each of their grievances with an almost disarming sincerity.

As the discussion continued, the tension in the room seemed to ease. Qabei's presence had a way of diffusing anger, his rational arguments and friendly facade giving the impression that everything could be resolved peacefully. For a moment, it seemed as though the rebellion might dissolve into nothing more than a heated debate. The crowd, which had been on edge, began to relax, lulled by Qabei's steady composure.

The rebel leader, emboldened by Qabei's apparent leniency, made a move that shattered the fragile peace. He drew a weapon, declaring that words were no longer enough, that action was needed to bring about real change. The atmosphere in the hall shifted abruptly, the calm shattered by the threat of violence, yet, oddly enough Qabei's friendly facade remained.

And then, a flicker, an instant. His face contorted. The hall grew silent, the air thick with a sense of impending doom. His voice, once so soothing, now carried an edge of menace. The words he spoke were incomprehensible, as if from another world, filled with a will that defied understanding. It was as if the very fabric of reality had shifted, the room warping around his anger.

I watched, frozen in place, as Qabei moved with a speed and ferocity that belied his usual calm. The rebels, who had seemed so confident moments before, were reduced to mere shadows before his wrath. His movements were a blur, an unholy dance that defied description. The air seemed to crackle with energy, the walls of the grand hall closing in as if reacting to his rage. The rebels' screams were swallowed by the void, their forms distorted, twisted by a force beyond comprehension.

In the aftermath, the hall was eerily quiet. Qabei stood alone, the remnants of his fury still lingering in the air. The crowd, once hopeful and defiant, now looked on in horror and awe. The rebellion was over. His anger, rarely seen, had left an indelible mark on all who witnessed it. "Any other concerns?" He fixed the cuff on his jacket, smiling whiel surrounded by indescript carnage.
