Thereala (THAIR-ee-all-ah)

Thereala is the 7th largest city in the world, but it is the 5th largest if one does not include city-states. It was the first major city founded after the War of the Gates, and only Praneya has been stable longer. Being the second most Easternmost city, Thereala also boasts the most difficult naval approach, as ships must round the sometimes Fog shrouded Cape Niwl in order to approach the city.

The city is considered odd, but devastatingly gorgeous, by visitors. It is a city built largely in a forest of towering trees, many of which come down to the water, and some of which actually grow in the water. The trees of Thereala are staggeringly huge; all of the cargo cranes and some of the docks are actually tree branches.
