The Order of the Sulane (SUE-lane)

Existing in some form in all the countries of Cremaia and most of Asuris, The Order of the Sulane is one of the most esteemed organizations on Volara, acting primarily as peacekeepers. The Order of the Sulane often clashes with The Illuminant Order, as the latter Order's more fanatical leanings often disturb the peace that The Order of the Sulane tries to protect. The Sulane Order was believed to have been founded around TY 1250 by the historical warrior known only as Ragnar.

Structure

The Sulane Order has three divisions: the Sulane Paladins, the Sulane Knights, and the Sulane Militia. The Sulane Paladins act as envoys and personal guards for royalty and religious groups. The Sulane Knights usually command groups of the Sulane Militia, with the third group's primary task being contracted peacekeeping in many major cities.
