Ponland

Ponland covers the very most northwest region of the Main Continent. It borders Dalland and Mørkland. It is ruled by the Pon monarchy, descended from the adopted children of King Fe Pon, the once General of the Stronghold Army Remnant. Queen Aurora Pon is the current ruler on the throne. It has a relatively multicultural population.

Laws

Ponland holds to the Four Accords. In addition, all humanoid corpses are burned and any livestock are butchered immediately, punishable by a period of community service or indentured servitude. If a failure to burn results in anyone's death by undead, the ones responsible may be tried for violating the First Accord. The creation of basements, cellars, bunkers, or any digging beyond 4 feet is punishable in a similar manner (except at Isolation Point where the ice is so thick that such construction is considered safe under proper supervision).

Economy

In Ponland, gold coins are still the standard and PHB prices are normal. Land is granted to Lords and Ladies by the throne, but at present there are only three such noble houses (Edgemoor, Halvveis, and Grænmetisæta). Businesses can be owned by citizens. Trade is regulated by the Ponland Royal Trade Commission, and registered businesses pay sales taxes.
